CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Work on Staples Street near Ray High School is close to being finished.
The city confirmed that the improvements project is about 90 percent complete and expects work to be done by Feb. 28.
Crews have poured concrete on the new roadway as well as added sidewalks with ADA ramps along portions of staples street.
In the next few weeks, crews will install traffic lights in the area.
