The north gate at NAS-Corpus Christi -- the gate accessed by Ocean Drive -- has reopened on a temporary basis.
The gate will only be open from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. this week for inbound traffic only.
Anyone leaving the base will have to exit through the south gate -- that's the Flour Bluff entrance.
As we've reported, the north gate was shut down yesterday when a man identified as 47-year-old Brian Robinson tried to drive a stolen truck onto the base.
He was arrested by base security and is facing federal gun charges for now.
