A local elementary school celebrated Texas State Arbor Day by planting a tree on their campus.
The Port of Corpus Christi and the Moses Menger Elementary school garden club have teamed up for the effort.
The 10 to 12 foot oak tree was planted this Friday morning, Nov. 1.
