The Alice Echo-News Journal reported that a man was shot in the head Monday night in Alice.
The newspaper said the shooting in the 1200 block of San Felipe Street was the culmination of several days of gunshots, and that the victim was transported via HALO-Flight to Christus Spohn Hospital-Shoreline and is in critical condition.
KRIS 6 News contacted the Jim Wells Co. Sheriff's Office for information and were told that a statement wouldn't be released because the investigation is ongoing.
