CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident Thursday night that killed a 61-year-old pedestrian on Gollihar Road near Christie Street.
Police say that Daniel Cantu was arrested on Friday and remains jailed on a $100,000 bond.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop, render aid and then fled the scene.
Police say a member of the community provided the information that led to Cantu's arrest.
