CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Investigators with the Nueces County Medical Examiner's office said a man died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The man, who has been identified as Emilio Flores, 53, was shot Sunday around 4:22 a.m. in the 200 block of Peoples Street.
Investigators added Flores was homeless and had family in the Hondo area.
There is no word yet if anyone has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
