Major flooding along Highway 77 access roads

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS — The Robstown police department is asking drivers to avoid Highway 77 access roads due to major flooding in the area.

Chief Enrique Paredez says there is major flooding along Highway 77 access roads between Robstown and Calallen.

Officers are redirecting northbound traffic on the access road to the SB Hwy 77 lanes.

The Corpus Christi Police Department tells us that no roads in the city have been closed.

Nueces County Emergency Service District No. 2 says that Yorktown and Road Field Road are underwater. They have put out a warning to drivers on their Facebook page telling drivers to avoid the area.
