ALICE, Texas — This Saturday, theCorpus Christi Veteran Affairs Outpatient Center finished up their traveling flu shot clinic in Alice.
Staff with the outpatient clinic have spent the past few weeks traveling to various cities throughout the Coastal Bend providing flu shots to veterans who need it. They say it's important right now to keep veterans healthy while they can't travel.
“We are out here to bring the flu shots to our local veterans here in the Alice community. We want to ensure that during these times of COVID they stay as safe as possible and we are still able to bring them this very important service,” said nurse manager of the C.C. VA Outpatient Clinic, Vanessa Guillory.
