CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local restaurant gave a big thank you to America's finest.
Chops and Eggs, on the city's Southside, provided free meals to the Corpus Christi Police Department's Gang Unit.
Many of these officers will be working during the holidays.
First responders were given meals inside their vehicles due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chops and Eggs recently did a similar thing for local doctors and nurses on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle.
