CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Downtown Lions Club is lending a paw to furry friends at local animal shelters.
Throughout the month of June, the nonprofit organization is hosting a donation drive.
The Lion's Club is asking for varied items such as paper towels, bleach, blankets and monetary donations.
Collection ends on June 30.
Items can be dropped off at 645 Everhart Road in Corpus Christi Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At this time, the Lion's Club is not requesting food donations. Animal shelters require specific foods.
