CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Today here at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, students were raising awareness for Suicide Awareness Month on campus today.
During the third-annual Links Across Campus event, the university came together to challenge the stigma against mental health.
Students linked a giant paper chain together, sprawling from the University Center breezeway to Ocean Drive.
The University Counseling Center and Suicide Awareness Focuses on Everyone grant program sponsored the event to show Islander unity.
