UPDATE: According to an arrest report from CCPD, Johnny Wiley, the man arrested in a late-night standoff Friday morning, has a few felony warrants in Oklahoma.

The arrest report says that Wiley's alleged offenses include child fondling, child sexual abuse, and indecent proposals to a child under 16.

His felony bond is set at $800,000.

The arrest report also detailed the dramatic exchange between Wiley and the officers.

"OF Johnny stated he was going through a mid-life crisis and said that the only way he was exciting the room was going to be in a body bag," said the report from CCPD.

Wiley eventually exited the room and was arrested.

ORIGINAL STORY: A man is in jail after a stand-off with Corpus Christi police Thursday night.

Officers say it started around 8:30 p.m. on Shoreline Blvd. when officers went to arrest a man wanted on warrants.

Police say when they arrived, the man went into a room and refused to come out.

Multiple police units were called to the scene. Officers say the man came out peacefully on his own just after midnight and was taken into custody.

Police haven't released the man's name or what charges he is facing.
