Kleberg County turns park into COVID-19 testing site

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Kleberg County has turned a local park into a COVID-19 testing site.

Friday morning, County and Kingsville city leaders closed down the park and began setting it up for Saturday tests. Doctors will be determining who would be tested and tests are by appointment only.

The samples taken already were sent to Harlingen to complete testing.

As long at the testing site is open the park will remain closed. The site is located at Dick Kleberg Park at 501 Santiago Park Lane, Kingsville, TX 78363.
