A man accused in two deadly home invasions is on trial this week.
Jury selection began this morning in the trial of Ismael Castillo.
Castillo and Ricardo Acuna are accused of shooting two people at a home on the 2000 block of Coleman Avenue back in March 2018.
One of those victims, 19-year old Deandre Mathis died from his wounds.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in this case.
The other two defendants in this case, Acuna and the accused getaway driver, Ariana Carbajal, are expected to stand trial on Nov. 18.
Meanwhile, Castillo is also charged with killing a couple during a home invasion on Balchuck Lane in April 2018.
