The bull has a "Q5" branded on it's left rib cage, according to Jim Wells County officials.

The bull was picked up Jan. 3 in the middle of a field off of CR330, south of FM 2044. He was taken to the Gulf Coast Livestock Auction located at 3015 S U.S. Highway 281 in Alice.

He will stay there until Jan. 21. If he isn't claimed he will be sold at auction.
