CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Brace yourself for traffic delays if you're traveling to and from the island.
Starting today, some lanes of Park Road 22 between Flour Bluff and the island will be shutting down.
That’s because of an inspection of the JFK Causeway and it's expected to take about two weeks.
The closures will affect both east and westbound lanes and will happen between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.
Motorists are urged to be on the alert for the lane closures, slow down in the area and follow all traffic control instructions.
