CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 6-month old girl who was detained by the U.S. Border Patrol, along with 20 other people, is now at Driscoll Children's Hospital in critical condition.
The baby, her father and the others were caught trying the cross the SouthTexas border illegally near Roma.
Doctors who examined the girl at a processing center determined she needed medical care.
She was taken to a hospital in Edinburg and then flown to Driscoll.
Border Patrol agents drove her father to Corpus Christi to be with his daughter.
