CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Country singer Roger Creager is hosting the inaugural "Roger Creager Coastal Bender" downtown this weekend.
The event starts Friday and will include a fishing tournament, boat expo and a concert featuring Creager, David Lee Murphy, Chris Colston and Jack Ingram.
“This is something that our camp, we've been talking about this for years,” Creager said. “We've been trying to find a venue and a city and a place to host something like this and this year it all came together.
And where better to do it than at your home?
“That’s my hometown,” Creager said.
