Update: Hundreds of other AEP customers have lost power around 11 a.m. Saturday. The cause of the power outage appears to be weather-related.
Hundreds of AEP customers lost power Saturday morning across Corpus Christi.
According to the AEP power outage website, people in different neighborhoods lost power across the city. The first couple of power outages were reported just before 8 a.m. Saturday.
The power outages come before Hurricane Hanna has made landfall.
It does not say when the power will be restored.
