CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Firefighters with the Nueces County Emergency Service District #2 say a grass fire killed two turtles.
The fire broke out in Waldron Park after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
"Crews from CCFD and ESD#2 responded to a grass fire Waldron park," firefighters posted on their social media page.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire twenty minutes later.
