Gas prices continue to plummet across Coastal Bend

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Our temperatures aren't the only thing that's falling. So are prices at the gas pumps.

We found a gallon of regular unleaded selling for $2.19 at the Murphy Express on Flour Bluff Drive.

That’s nine cents less than the statewide average of $2.28 a gallown.

A year ago, the statewide average price was $2.66 a gallon of regular unleaded.

And according to the Triple-A, prices at the pumps will continue to drop in the weeks to come.
