The Coastal Bend Food Bank is putting together emergency food and cleaning supply boxes because of the coronavirus.
Today their project got a huge financial boost.
Local car dealership owner Marion Luna Brem donated $5,000 to the food bank.
Brem is also challenging other car dealers to do the same to help out the food bank.
Those emergency boxes will be for low-income families, the disabled, the homebound and the elderly.
