CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi reports there be one-way traffic along Slough Road, from Fred’s Folly Drive to Rodd Field Road, for several months.
The road work is part of the Slough Road reconstruction project.
Access onto Slough Road will be prohibited at the Rodd Field intersection. This traffic change is expected to begin on Thursday.
To gain access onto Slough Road, drivers now will use Brooke Road and Ametrine Drive.
Signage and message boards will be in place to guide residents to the designated detour routes.
Safety is a top priority, so motorists are reminded to be aware of the work zone, follow all traffic control devices and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
