CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The U.S. Marshals arrested a former Calallen teacher on Thursday who was wanted for sexual abuse of a child.
The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force found the Portland man in Taft, and took 28-year-old Joseph Michael Sandoval into custody.
The Marshals Service said it arrested Sandoval without incident, with the assistance of a Texas DPS trooper. Sandoval was transported to the San Patricio County Jail and booked on the warrant with a $100,000 bond.
Sandoval taught in the Calallen Independent School District in 2018.
