CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The annual Education Service Center Region II technology conference kicked off this morning.
It provided a chance for teachers and administrators from more than 40 school districts to think innovatively about using technology in their schools.
Dozens of technology-based vendors were at the conference to present their products and ideas.
The theme of the conference this year is "Learning Transformed."
“Every year, technology is constantly evolving into something new, so you as a teacher or an administrator have to constantly transform your classroom and your curriculum into something new in order to bring technology into the classroom,” said April Swartz, a learning resources technician.
The conference also included a student showcase to highlight how districts are currently using technology in education.
