Emergency road work being done at the intersection of SPID and Staples Street is causing delays in that area.
AEP-Texas crews' work is forcing lane closures of a through lane, and a right-hand turn lane, on Staples between SPID and Williams Drive.
Drivers traveling on the south side are advised to find alternate routes, when possible.
