CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local business has announced that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic they will soon close their doors.

Management with Eleanor's Coffee Bar + Market say they wanted to bring a relaxing and peaceful experience for people to gather.

The coffee shop located on Alameda has been there for the past five years.

The owner says they haven’t seen as many customers and it is best to go ahead and close up shop.

"We’ve watched kids grow up, and kids leave for college, and women go from pregnancies to kids going to school," says coffee bar owner Jessica Gignac. "I mean it’s been an intense few years, a lot of life lived in these walls that’s for sure."

Eleanor’s coffee bar will officially close Feb 28.
