ARANSAS PASS, TEXAS — Aransas Pass business owners started the day off frustrated after a dump truck knocked down communication lines.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. along East Nelson Avenue in Aransas Pass.
Communication workers at the scene said a dump truck snagged some fiber lines. Local businesses affected said they had no cable, phone, or internet and couldn't use their credit card machines.
They said fiber lines for the internet should be up in a couple of hours.
