CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The NASA drone research project continued throughout the city today, and testing will continue tomorrow around the Lawrence Street T-head from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It's expected to impact traffic, and cause some temporary street closures.
The testing is part of a NASA research project on how to safely integrate drone technology into the national airspace.
The Lone Star UAS center was selected as one of six FAA test sites in the U.S.
Drone testing throughout the area will continue until Aug. 23.
