CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A driver is facing DWI charges after he was involved in an accident last night.
It happened just before 8 p.m. on Highway 44 and Violet Road.
Department of Public Safety troopers say 21-year-old Eddie Aguilar ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle, causing it to flip over.
Aguilar was arrested when he tried to run from the scene.
He was taken to the hospital along with the driver of the other vehicle.
