RIVERA, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking for information about an auto-pedestrian hit-and-run fatality crash that occurred Monday in Riviera in Kleberg County.
The accident occurred about 2:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 77 and State Highway 285 in Riviera.
DPS spokesman Nathan Brandley said preliminary investigations revealed that a male subject was reported laying in the crosswalk of State Highway 285. The male subject was later pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The victim has not been identified, pending notification of next of kin.
