BEEVILLE, TEXAS — DPS Troopers say a Beeville man was killed following a three-vehicle crash.
The crash happened Wednesday at approximately 1:24 p.m. one mile south of Skidmore in Bee County.
According to a preliminary investigation, a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on US 181 and attempted to turn right onto southbound SH 359.
A 2001 Monaco Coach Motor Home, pulling a 2006 Nissan Xterra was traveling north on US 181 and was coming to a stop at the stop sign at the intersection of US 181 and SH 259.
A DPS report states the driver of the Harley Davidson failed to control his speed in the curve and struck the front left tire of the Motor Home.
55-year-old Ernest Barrera was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The male driver of the Motor Home was not injured.
DPS Troopers are further investigating the fatal crash.
