CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — UPDATE: The Del Mar board of regents approved the budget for the new southside campus.
The price tag for the first phase of that project will be $107 million, covering the first phase of construction for the new campus. That’s $20 million more than was proposed for the first phase.
Members of the Tax Payers Association were at today's regent's meeting.
They say the cost is too high.
The vote to approve the budget was 8-1.
