CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One local school is stressing the importance of educating their students about the negative impacts of vaping.

At the start of the school year, Moody High School held an assembly with the entire student body to have a conversation about the dangers of vaping.

During that discussion, their principal spoke about the change in law – effective Sept. 1 – that does not allow anyone under the age of 21 to purchase tobacco products like e-cigarettes.

Today, we’ll be speaking to the principal and some students about the importance of a conversation like this.

And we’ll tell you what they have to say tonight on KRIS 6 News.
