CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local college will be closed for another day after suffering from technological issues.
Earlier this week Coastal Bend College posted that it was dealing with a "Network disruption."
The school's phones, website, and other systems remained unavailable, forcing the campus to close.
Sunday, the college took to social media to let students and staff know they'll be closed again Monday, saying they experienced a possible cyber security threat.
"As you all know, we experienced a potential cyber security incident this past week. Upon discovering the incident, the College took immediate action to respond to the incident, notified law enforcement, and a leading cyber security firm has been engaged to assist." the college posted.
Despite the closure, their daycare center will remain open tomorrow.
They say they hope to have an update later tomorrow.
