CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi residents celebrated the news of President-elect Joe Biden Saturday afternoon.
Early Saturday morning, Pennsylvania was called forJoe Biden, putting him over 270 electoral votes to win the Presidential Election. Biden supporters across the area decided to celebrate the news with a caravan in honor of the upcoming 46th President of the United States.
“This is the seventh caravan, this is our official victory caravan. We worked really hard, we had 10 weeks of pop-up booths at the Trade Center, seven caravans later, we did it,” said Nueces County Democrats chair Laura Estrada.
According to Estrada, the carvans went through the west and southside of the city.
