CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Investigators with the Corpus Christi police department are working with federal officials as they investigate a CCPD officer.
CCPD says the officer is on active duty military status and his primary employer is the United States military.
In a statement sent to KRIS 6 NEWS, Lt. Michael Pena stated, "As this is an active case, we cannot release any further information at this time. We will share more information with the media as soon as we are able to do so."
Detectives also said there are no official charges that have been levied and they are currently reviewing a great deal of data.
