CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Mayor Joe McComb and Corpus Christi City Council leaders have approved the sale of the old Corpus Christi Fire Station No. 1 on Carancahua Street.
The decision was made during Tuesday's city council meeting.
The property will be sold for $325,000 to a San Antonio company for development into affordable- and moderately-priced housing.
The council used a one-vote measure to pass the item, bypassing possible bidding on the property.
The buyer has until Aug. 31, 2021, to finalize inspections and surveys on the property.
