Bill Witt and Ethel Eyerly water distribution centers still handing out water, the rest are depleted

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Three of the five Corpus Christi water distribution centers are now turning cars away after handing out all the water they had.

As of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center at 654 Graham Road and Bill Witt Park at 6869 Yorktown Boulevard are still handing out water bottles.

No word on how many water bottles were handed out yet, but Friday afternoon, the city of Corpus Christi received 13,000 cases of bottled water.

The Corpus Christi Police Department announced the five water distribution centers would be open at 3 p.m. and close at 7 p.m..

Distribution locations:

Hilltop Senior Center, 11425 Leopard Street

Bill Witt Park, 6869 Yorktown Boulevard

Health Department, 1702 Horne Road

Natatorium, 3202 Cabaniss Road

Ethel Eyerly Senior Center, 654 Graham Road
