CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Padre Island National Seashore is continuing with prescribed burns in that area.
The park started controlled burns at 7 a.m. Wednesday on the west side of Park Road 22 out to the Bird Island Basin access road.
Traffic may be stopped for short periods whenever there is fire.
