Christmas is not over yet here in the Coastal Bend.

After a brief break for the Christmas holiday, the American Bank Center's 2nd annual Coastal Christmas event, powered by Stellar Energy Solutions, reopened today for the last weekend of the year.

It's an opportunity for the community to experience a Winter wonderland right here in South Texas, with activities for the whole family.

Kids of all ages can enjoy tubing down a snow slide, indoor ice skating, pictures with Santa, face painting, and much more.

"Considering figure skating isn't big here in Corpus Christi a lot," said Thomas Hill. "Come and try ice skating while the rink is still here. I definitely recommend it."

Ice skating costs $5 per session and another $5 for skate rentals.

On Saturday, the arena will extend its hours for a "Late Night Skate" with a performance by DJ Skip.

"It's awesome for them to bring it here for us," said Dayrin Benavides. "For the kids to experience it because they grow up in hot weather."

Below is the schedule for the remainer of the event:

Dec. 26 noon - 10 p.m.
Dec. 27 noon - 10 p.m.
Dec. 28 noon - 9 p.m.
Dec. 28 LATE-NIGHT SKATE 9 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Dec. 29 noon - 10 p.m.
Dec. 30 noon - 10 p.m.
