CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Blood Center says it’s hoping many will give the gift of blood donations this holiday season.
The blood center is urging the community to donate so they can continue to help people like 88- year-old Leotta Gaines.
Leotta gives to the community as much as she can but recently has had health problems. The pandemic, holidays and recent spike in tragedies have left the blood center struggling to fill the demand.
