CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The state's annual Click It or Ticket campaign to promote seat-belt usage starts today.
From now until June 6, officers will step up enforcement of seat belt and child car seat laws.
Anyone found unbuckled can be issued a $250 fine.
Traffic officials say they hope the "click it or ticket" campaign reminds folks to buckle up as many get ready to hit the road for summer trips.
