CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — City officials are pleased with the continued recent progress in fixing the water problems facing the city.

The system remained stable overnight with pressures above 35 pounds per square inch (PSI) which meets regulatory requirements.

Earlier this morning, the city's Water Utilities team is testing water quality throughout the water distribution system. This begins the 18-hour analysis period required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to rescind the water boil order.

The City remains under a water boil notice until communicated otherwise.

If water customers experience line breaks from overnight temperatures and are having difficulty locating their main shutoff valve, they can email waterquality@cctexas.com or call the city's 24-hour Customer Service Call Center at 361-826-CITY.
