A local park that was once a popular hangout for the homeless is undergoing some improvements.
Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation crews are installing a 640-foot fence at Blucher Park.
It divides the park from the Station Church on Tancahua Street. The fence will be complete in two weeks.
The city also plans to add trash cans and five signs with information on the city's new ordinance that prohibits sleeping and eating in the park.
