CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — A teenager is recovering in the hospital after police say he was intentionally hit by a vehicle.
The crash happened just before 12:30 pm Friday in the 700 block of Westchester Drive.
Corpus Christi police officers say the victim and the driver of the car were arguing in the street when the suspect got inside his vehicle.
Police said the suspect driver intentionally turned his vehicle around, hit the victim, and fled the scene.
Many witnesses told investigators where to find the suspect and the car. Both were later found at a home on the 300 blocks of Shawnee Street.
The 18-year-old suspect was arrested for aggravated assault using a vehicle as a deadly weapon.
There is no word on the medical condition of the victim.
