CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police still are looking for a suspect who stole a vehicle with a 2-year-old child inside at an apartment near Roosevelt and Blanco Courts.
The vehicle was stolen at around 11 a.m. Tuesday when the father of the boy had stopped to pick up some food.
Officers say the father left the boy in the car while he went inside the apartment.
That's when someone drove off in his vehicle with his son still inside.
While searching, police got a call that a child wearing a diaper was found wandering in the Port and Talton area.
Police confirmed the child was the toddler that had been taken.
The boy was reunited with his father...but the car was still missing.
It wasn't long after...police found the vehicle parked in the Sound Vibrations parking lot on Staples, shortly before the suspect was arrested.
