CCPD searching for suspects involved in shooting on Island

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Police is searching for suspects that shot a man on the Island last month.

Police say on April 25 around 12:20 a.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting with injuries at the 13000 block of Suntan Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

Detectives were able to collect surveillance video of a suspect vehicle. It is believed to be an older model Cadillac Sedan that is black in color. Video also captured two men who were seen in the area shortly before the shooting then seen again after the shooting leaving at a high rate of speed.

The suspects are facing charges of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
