CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi police say a man is facing more charges after he led police on a brief chase.
The incident happened just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday inside of a parking lot located near South Padre Island Drive and Greenwood Drive.
According to police, they receive a report of a "man down" call inside of a vehicle. When officers went to make contact with the man, the man took off on foot.
Police officers followed the man as he continued to run, and he decided to run across the freeway.
The man was eventually taken into custody and arrested.
Police at the scene said the man is wanted and has multiple warrants.
