CCPD looking for alleged kidnapping victim, suspect

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Police Department officials are looking for a woman who reportedly was kidnapped at gunpoint.

The aggravated kidnapping happened around 2:33 a.m. Thursday in the 6000 block of Airstream Drive off of Leopard Street.

Police said 23-year-old Thomas Hutchins entered the home of his ex-girlfriend, 22-year-old Paulina Hernandez, without consent. Witnesses told officers that Hutchins forced Hernandez to leave with him at gunpoint.

Police believe Hernandez is in danger. Both were last seen leaving in a blue 2015 Honda Civic with Oklahoma license plates DLH434.

Hernandez is described as a 5-6, 215-pound woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue tie-dye T-shirt.

Hutchins is described as a 5-5 man who, weighs approximately 150 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.
